Cable Services Group continues to support local charities

The “Cable Service Group Charity Fund (Charity Reg No: 1179915) – Making a difference in our local communities” was set up almost 4 years ago with the intention to benefit all those communities’ in which we have our branches: Wrexham, Swindon, Stone, Liverpool and Glasgow.

Following a very difficult year, with covid 19 affecting everyone, it proved a really difficult year for charities as so many fundraising events had to be cancelled. Fundraising and charity events contribute a massive amount to the running of many charities and hospices. Through the work of our staff and the company, we are delighted that we were able to contribute to local charities selected by our staff member.

The staff members across our 5 branches have being doing various activities to raise funds for our charities, these include, Bake Day, Raffles, Dress Down Friday’s as well as our 150 Club which brings in money every month.

Huw Evans: Marketing Manager “What a year 2020 was, who would have known at the beginning of 2020 we would be facing a covid 19 pandemic. Thankfully things are starting to look a little more promising now. We are just happy that we could contribute a donation to local charities close to us and knowing that every penny will be put to good use.”
