At Cable Services Group, sustainability isn’t just something we talk about. It’s something we continue to build into the way we operate.
From measuring our carbon footprint and investing in more energy-efficient buildings , to electric and plug-in hybrid company vehicles , EV charging points and electric warehouse forklifts, we are working to reduce our environmental impact.
We’re also focused on reducing waste: reusing packaging wherever possible, segregating materials to maximise recycling and using 100% recycled plastic pallet wrap. We work closely with our suppliers too, encouraging improvements in packaging, waste reduction and the removal of avoidable plastics.
Our commitment extends beyond our own operations. We make annual contributions to the The Woodland Trust and, at our Wrexham headquarters, our partnership with the North Wales Wildlife Trust / Ymddiriedolaeth Natur Gogledd Cymru is helping to enhance local habitats and biodiversity.
Our environmental management system is certified to ISO 14001 , and we continue to work towards our goal of becoming Carbon Neutral or Net Zero for Scope 1 and 2 emissions, together with elements of Scope 3 under our direct control, by 2040.
